During her time in college, she worked for Historic Humber House and ECU Special Collections specializing in Oral History collections and recording. After Graduating, she went straight to Colonial Williamsburg and for four years interpreted the interactive children’s house teaching modern kids about the life of children during colonial times. LeAnne then went on to the NC Transportation Museum where she was the collection manager for 16 years.
